Electronic measurement of Capillary Refill Time.
This automation of the measurement makes the evaluation objective (non operator dependent) standardized, reproducible, fast and accurate.
DiCART integrate several complex technologies :
- Mechatronics with constant pressure adjustment, skin temperature.
- Lighting and image capture of skin at the pressure site, recording.
- Images analysis with dedicated algorithm result display. Magnification of color contrast, low variation detection, shape filter.
Dicartech is developing a handheld autonomous, non-invasive instrument that can be applied to different parts of the body, whatever the skin color. The pressure, the lighting and the images capture are automatic.
The quantification algorithm of color variations related to the quantity of blood, was developed with an academic mathematical laboratory.
Measurements are made with a sterile protector avoiding cross-contamination.
